Boston Tea Party

On July 10, Mike, Houston, and I visited the site of the Boston Tea Party. First, we ate at the No Name Restaurant.

That was very good seafood. A friend of ours in Cuenca recommended it.  Very old school style with interesting servers. Our waiter nicknamed Houston "Pop." Of course, I never let him forget it! After lunch we were re-energized and ready to visit the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum.

Once inside, there was a re-enactment of the meeting held prior to dumping the tea into the Boston Harbor.  I was chosen for a very small speaking role.

After the meeting we headed to the ship.

Afterwards, we stopped by the Whiskey Priest for a snack and to enjoy the view.

I learned more about the Boston Tea Party, from this experience, than I ever learned from a textbook.

  1. Hey, this Boston Tea Party looks so much enjoyable. These photos are so cute. We too visited NYC recently. We attended our uncle’s retirement party at one of the outdoor party Venues in NYC. The bash was very extra ordinary and this is why we all had a blasting weekend.
