Our last adventure of 2015 was a day trip to the waterfalls of Giron with our friends Juan Carlos and Daniel. It was a beautiful day to see an amazing area just an hour outside of Cuenca. Afterwards, we visited San Fernando and Laguna de Busa.

I too stumbled upon your blog ... Wife and I are fantasizing about a move to Ecuador soon, have so many questions. The further I dig, the more I find. As a quick aside, do you think taking off, with Cuenca as first stop, crazy for a retired younger couple?
