USS Constitution and Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston, MA

On July 20th, we took a ferry over to Charlestown.

The USS Constitution is currently in dry dock, for three years, for routine maintenance and repairs.

We had too much fun!

More pictures of the USS Constitution.

While walking around the ship we found these behind a fence.  Didn't prevent me from taking pictures!

This tour turned out to be more fun and informative than I though it would.  A very good day indeed.

Provincetown, MA

July 17th, we boarded the fast ferry for the hour and a half trip over to Provincetown on The Cape of Massachusetts.

On the ferry sporting my Harvard University cap.

And we arrived!

Monument commemorating the arrival of the Mayflower.  It was here, not Plymouth, where the Mayflower first stopped.

Pictures of the area.

The gardens in the area were beautiful!

Not beautiful, but rather interesting pond with Barbie and Ken dolls surrounding it.

Provincetown is very quaint and reminds me of Key West, FL.  I hope I get the opportunity to visit again.
